The 2008 Business Person of the Year
The Business Person of the Year will be announced and honored at the 2008 W-PBA Annual Membership Dinner.
The 2008 Woodstown High School Scholarship
The Scholarship Award will be presented at the High School Awards Night, held in May 2008. The receipient of this award will be asked to attend a W-PBA meeting held in his or her honor.
The aim of this program is to educate the community on the importance of supporting the business community through youth groups.
The 2008 Election of Officers
A nominating committee is needed to help in the 2008 election of officers.
Coordinating W-PBA Events
The W-PBA Annual Membership Dinner will be held in January to announce the 2008 elected officers and to attract new members. The W-PBA will also hold several business to business card exchanges, a business showcase for networking and after-hours social events.
Community Events
Volunteers are needed to distribute the 2008 W-PBA Business Directory at the Candlelight Tour and to participate in the 4th of July Parade and the Fall Festival.
Fundraisers
Road clean-up projects will help raise money. This requires only a few hours of service on a Saturday and can be done three times a year through the municipalities and Salem County Solid Waste department.
